After I completed the piece titled "Lies and Dreams" which focuses on women in my family, I wanted to explore the transition from being a daughter to being the mother of a daughter. This piece continues my exploration of a personal invented language using geometric and abstract shapes.
Materials: Hand-dyed Newport Linen, rayon, buttons, scanned photos printed on cloth, 8 harness Macomber loom, air dobby.
