| Native Americans unraveled and re-spun wool trade cloth to make weft twined bags. These bags were constructed with yarn twined on loose warps tied to a header cord stretched around two springy stakes driven vertically into the ground. Twining is slow work, but the technique makes a very sturdy bag. | |
