Ashford’s Kiwi spinning wheel is their most basic and economical. The stretchy driveband, single drive ratios of 5:5 and 8:1 make spinning easy. The double treadle action is smooth and unhurried; aided by the momentum of the high-density wood fiber drive wheel. At 11 pounds, the Kiwi is lightweight and easy to carry. It comes with three bobbins and a lazy kate (not shown). The Kiwi arrives unassembled and unfinished waiting for your own choice of finish (we favor the idea of painting the wheel a gorgeous color with decorative additions and clear finish on the " real wood").
