“ My Bluster Bay poker shuttles are beautifully constructed and made of non-traditional hardwoods. They're quite useful for various types of weaving projects, particularly when using Swedish looms with tight sheds. Halcyon's wide range of card samples are also worthy of having in one's collection. Nothing beats having actual yarn samples to compare colors, textures, yarn thicknesses, etc when planning a project. I cherish my sample cards. Halcyon even offers sample cards of Brown Sheep Co. yarns, something Brown Sheep Co. doesn't even do. (BSC offers merely a catalog of photos of their yarns which can sometimes be misleading, though, not to bash BSC, it's still quite useful.) Halcyon also offers a nice selection of rug wools. I'll definitely be back to buy some more for future weaving projects. ”
