Summer Classes Through Labor Day…

I hate to even think that the end of summer is heading our way, but the school year will be upon us before we know it and the final free time events that you can make time for are winding down.  Check out our classes that are left for this term and see if anything strikes your fancy.

“Crackle Weave” with Michael Patterson on August 14 & 15. Call immediately to sign up for this weekend’s class!

There is a whole week of “kid classes” scheduled for the week of August 17 thru August 21. Check our class listings to see what’s available and don’t miss out.  The classes are gauged mainly to teach children ages 6 and up, but the kids at heart are always welcome as well.

“Have a Ball Blending” with Susan Douglas on August 22. Susan will show you her techniques in blending wool for color combinations and texture that will give you amazing variations in your spinning fibers.  Susan’s classes are always full, so call and register soon.

“Beyond The Basics Spinning” with Rudy Amann  August 28 & 29. Stretch your spinning knowledge with this advanced beginner class that will range from spinning worsted and woolen yarns, dyed roving and different plying techniques as well.

Lastly, but not least of course is..

“Going To The Dogs” with Marianne Dubois on  September 4. Marianne teaches needle felting that is so adorable you can hardly stand it.  Bring your favorite pooch to life with a pile of natural colored wools and a needle… A fun medium and a great craft to take on the go.
