I am working on the Soldier's Glommit as designed by Beth Quivey. I do not understand part of the instructions titled: "Make Thumb qusset: 1st round P1 (inc. 1st in next st) twice, P1.

Next 4 rounds: K all K sts, P all P sts.
Question: for the next 4 rounds am I still maintaining a circle, or flipping knitting over and knitting a row then purling a row?

The first purl instructions create a gap that looks awkard if jumpped over in a circular pattern. 971-275-3750

Hi Dawn, We don't have a pattern -- yet -- for women's & kids' size glomitts. I'm not aware of any existing pattern either, but you might try adapting a favorite mitten pattern, using the glomitt as a guideline. Meanwhile, I'll put on my thinking cap & see what I can come up with. Great idea! Thanks, Beth

We just have the one set of patterns at the moment, but I'll ask around and see if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks! Amos

When I was in the store recently I saw these... and got some yarn and knitted up a pair for my husband. They were super quick to knit up. Now I need another skein of Lopi to make a pair to send via Halcyon!

Hi Mary, Yes we are still accepting them. We will be shipping out packages of them periodically as we have enough to supply various units that have a need. Thanks for your interest! -Amos
