March Classes.. Come Learn Something New!

March is coming quickly believe it or not.  Winter seems to be hanging on, but there is some light at the end of it all… Daylight savings will shift us around March 8th, and that’ll be just in time for our new March classes…

Our month starts out with the “Crock Pot Dyeing” class, instructed by Susan Douglas on March 7th.  Her class has booked solid, but we will hopefully be offering it again this summer so watch the listings and book early… she’s always great!

“Weaving 101“, will be offered over the weekend of  March 13th-March 15th,  instructed by our own Michael Patterson.  Learning from Michael is always well worth your time.  He makes a class that may seem daunting into one that is fun and interesting.  Michael will be offering a more varied selection of weaving classes this summer and fall, so if you have already learned the basics then look ahead to some different choices over the next couple of terms.  If you haven’t learned the basics then this is the only class you should be taking… You’ll learn all you need to know and have a great time in the process.

“Playing With Paj“, will be held the next weekend,  March 20th & 21st.  This class is  instructed by Marianne Dubois and is an intermediate felting class. You’ll learn to dye some fibers as well as use silk paj as a basic fabric to create your scarves and silk panels of fiber art.  If you’ve wanted to deepen your felting experience this class will be perfect.

Don’t let winter win… we all have our thoughts on the season, but let it go out with a bang by staying active, learning new things, being creative and meeting great people in the process.  Hope to hear from you soon…
