After an Overwhelming Response….
In the last issue of our newsletter we had decided to end the “knit along” for the soldiers in Afghanistan. We were feeling like it had run it’s course for the winter time, but still left it open to receive any outstanding pairs to send in batches of a dozen until we didn’t have any left to send. Well…. that has changed abruptly due to an overwhelming response to “continue” this support until our troops return home. So, we are happy to announce that we will continue hosting the Glommit and Gauntlet knit along until that time is upon us. It’s really a joy to see what people can do when called upon to give of themselves and to reach out to those in need… We’re more then proud to continue this mission of hope and warmth with no end in sight.
