New Yarns!
We’re excited to offer several new yarns on our website. Two beautiful yarns are by Debbie Bliss, and one of these is part of our expanding line of environmentally sensitive yarns. Then we are very excited to be working with Briggs & Little, a local and wonderful company with a long and proud history.
Debbie Bliss Como
Como is the Big Easy – a beautiful super-chunky yarn perfect for the simple knits featured in the book, “Como”. Como’s “unstructured” nature gives wonderful stitch definition to classic ribs, moss and stockinette stitch and also makes the most generously sized designs light and easy to wear. Weavers – We know it will inspire you but please – weft only!
Debbie Bliss Eco Cotton
These beautiful yarns are manufactured from organic cotton within an ecological and socially conscious process through the bioRe textile chain, which integrates farmers, their families and the textile industry as equal partners. All production is based on the principle of fairness, with equal partnerships, involvement and participation, humane working hours and conditions. Eco cotton is grown without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers or defoliants and is harvested by hand. The yarn is dyed with non toxic or carcinogenic dyes and the water recycled and rendered drinkable.
