Long Lost Locks Back Again

kid-mohair-fiber-blog

After a lengthy hiatus – curly mohair locks are back and better than before! Our new source is a family farm in Minnesota home to hundreds of happy angora goats. The mohair fiber is soft, silky and lustrous. One peek and you’ll be immediately drawn to touch and feel and once you start you won’t want to stop. Each shipment of fiber identifies the name of the angora goat (such a nice personal touch)!

Weave a few locks in place on your next woven project for embellishment. For a rainbow palette of locks considered dying with Country Classic Dyes or Wash Fast Acid Dyes.

Now there are three beautiful natural shades: [Sorry, item discontinued or temporarily out of stock] (natural white), [Sorry, item discontinued or temporarily out of stock] (medium silver, gray mix) and [Sorry, item discontinued or temporarily out of stock] (dark gray). Great for needle felting hair, beards and fur or felted fringe.

This is a mixture of locks and loose fiber. Although washed and clean, there are some small amounts of vegetable matter.
