The current issue, Spring 2014, is all about silk. Who knew there was so much to learn. I can’t wait to share the photographs with the elementary students with whom I work. The fact that silk comes from a silk worm never ceases to be a hot topic for young children and seeing images always elicits “ohhs and ahhs”. It’s going to be such a valuable resource for years to come.
We had hoped to stock the 3 previously published issues of PLY (they really are as valuable as a book), but they are all SOLD OUT. That speaks volumes about the response PLY has received from the handspinning community – “YEAH”! Better get your own Spring 2014 issue before it’s sold out too! Stay tuned for future issues yet to come.
