The Ashford wide carder was designed for spinners or felters who want to make fabulous, fun, and funky art yarns or felts. The extra long teeth, packer brush, 6:1 carding ratio, and adjustable drum clearance allow you to create unique blends with differing fibers, fabrics, ribbons, feathers, noils, paper, and more. It's small, portable, weighs only 7 3/4 lbs. and is lacquered and assembled. It includes a cleaning brush and doffer awl which are stored conveniently on the carder.
