Bamboo yarn is environmentally friendly, using a renewable crop to create a viscose yarn which is naturally antibacterial and has excellent breathability and drape. Satin Bamboo does not split or break as easily as other bamboo yarns and it has a lighter, less dense feel. Knitters will enjoy nice even stitches, great pattern detail and a beautiful, shiny finish. For weavers, Satin Bamboo will work similarly to a mercerized cotton, Tencel or rayon. Plan on approximately 10% shrinkage.
