About: Soft Finish Linen Warps 8/3 thru 8/5

These are traditional warps for Scandinavian style rugs such as rya and krokbragd and for many styles of tapestry. Linen warps are stiffer than wool warps and give more body to your finished piece. Use the 3 or even 4 ply styles for tapestries and wall hangings and use the 3, 4, or 5-ply single or doubled for your heaviest rugs. Remember to twist or braid your warps ends as loose fringes will quickly wear away.
