For years, rug braiders have turned to Braid-Aid for high quality braiding tools. All Braid-Aid tools are constructed of tempered steel and then zinc plated for a smooth work surface. Works with strips 1.25 to 1.5 in wide. Set of 3, adjustable for finished braids of .5" to 1.5".

These are the only braiders that fold nearly all weights of materials in widths from 1.25 in. to 2.25 in. The most versatile braider of all, the Vari-Folder Braid-Aids are designed to fold perfectly light or heavy material cut the width desired to make braids 1/2 in, 3/4 in, 1 in or 1 1/4 in wide.

Braidkin - Lacer
For years, rug braiders have turned to Braid-Aid for high quality braiding tools. All Braid-Aid tools are constructed of tempered steel and zinc plated for smoothness and long life. Until 1947 when the Braidkin was introduced all rugs were sewn together with thread and needle, a slow, painstaking effort. The Braidkin needle has an exact curve and tip shaped to insert under the loops of braid with ease and speed. The width and flatness keeps it from rolling or turning as you lace; and the double eye prevents thread from slipping. Great for use in knitting and weaving too.
