The Wolf Pup is an ideal traveling loom. With an 18" weaving width and the same sturdy X-frame construction as the other Wolf looms. The LT Wolf Pup has lamms and treadles that make tying up the treadles a snap.

The Wolf Pup folds up to a depth of only 16 in and weighs only 38 lbs. Standard with the loom are insert eye heddles, stainless steel heddle bars, your choice of stainless steel reed, lease sticks, brass hook, apron rods and cords. Other unique features included are attached wheels, an automatic fold-up lock button and the " treadle tracker". Ask about the option height extender option for added comfort if you are a taller weaver.

The talent of Schacht's wood working engineers is expressed in every maple (and cherry offered on special occasions only) loom they make. The moving parts work smoothly and effortlessly, the stationary parts are steadfast. Warping and threading are simple tasks because the back and breast beams are removable making the shafts readily accessible. Their Standard Floor Loom has a high castle, available with 36 and 45 weaving widths. Both looms function in the same way. The high castle includes a storage tray; you will also appreciate holes drilled in the top of the castle uprights for an extension lamp.

Schacht's Standard High-Castle Floor Looms may be ordered with 8 shafts or in a 4 Now-4 Later• version. The number of shafts you choose will depend on the kind of weaving you intend to do. If you have a keen interest in pattern drafting and weave structures, 8 shafts will allow you to fully develop this interest.

The Schacht Standard Floor Loom has an underslung jack mechanism to raise the shafts. The jacks pivot from two points equidistant from the center and lift the shafts by pushing up on the center point. We employ a parallel lamm system that gives our looms a light treadling action without any adjustment of tie-up cords.

The tie-up system is quick and easy to use. Pre-measured nylon tie-up cords hang from the lamms and are attached to a treadle by sliding the appropriate cords into the treadle slot. This makes changing tie-ups very fast.

Other special features of the Standard Floor Looms include: friction-reducing aluminum shaft channels, a back beam that folds with or without a warp on the loom, removable back and breast beams, and an adjustable open-sided beater. The braking system has a ratchet and dog on the cloth beam and a friction brake on the warp beam to give you precise tension control at all times.

•The 4 Now-4 Later model is an 8-shaft loom shipped with 4 shafts installed and the space to add an additional 4 shafts. You can purchase a kit to add 4 shafts at a later time. These looms are shipped with all the heddles, tie-ups, and other items normally included with an 8-shaft loom.

The bench seat height is adjustable from 19 in to 24 in and has been designed to offer you both a flat and a slanted seat position.
