At Swans Island Blankets we will tour the showroom to see the different styles and weights of blankets woven on site,
see the weaving in action with a chance to interact with the weavers, visit the various finishing stations for the blankets,
and see the dye shop where the blanket and knitting yarns are dyed with all natural dyes. Swans Island won the Smithsonian Blue Ribbon for Craft in 1996.
Also, luxuriate in their organic and naturally dyed wool yarns, silk and wool yarns and alpaca and wool yarns.

A beautiful old farm homestead working to preserve several breeds of endangered sheep, ducks and draft animals, collection of spinning wheels
and an old barn loom, usually has raw fleece for sale and in season vegetables and raspberries.
Participants may cancel without penalty until June 3, 2014; receive 1/2 of the fee if canceled between June 3 and July 3, 2014; there is no refund if canceled after July 3, 2014.
