Bartlett Yarns, Harmony, ME.
This vintage mill building is where we will see the last remaining working spinning mule in the US in action. We will experience the whole process of
making the woolen spun yarns from the raw fiber to the finished product, and visit the mill store.
•
Midsummer's Night Meadow Farm /
Susan Watson, fiber artist and farmer, in Garland, ME.
Susan maintains a flock of purebred and registered white and colored Corriedale sheep, shears them for their wool, dyes the wool and then
creates one of kind art pieces as well as functional items.
•
We will also have a light box lunch catered by Mae's Cafe (from Bath), on Susan's deck
•
Romney Ridge Farm / Kelly Corbett, Woolwich, ME.
Kelly is a designer, dyer, fiber artist and farmer.
Kelly loves her animals so much I wouldn't be surprised if she let them live in the house. Her fiber animals include Romneys, Corriedales, Border
Leicesters and Angora Goats. Her product line includes needle felting kits, yarns, patterns and a variety of notecards, gift cards and calendars.
You may have seen pictures of Romney Ridge Farm featured on the front and back covers of the Halcyon Yarn Equipment Catalog XV.
•
The Mooring B & B, Georgetown, ME.
Here we will feast on a traditional Maine Lobsterbake "under the tent" while enjoying the beautiful grounds and oceanside location. The Mooring
