I’m using them to put singles on before plying to even out the twist in my singles and to help with consistency in the yarn. The spools are much cheaper than the bobbins that come with my wheel. I can spin all the singles for a large project at once without having to buy more of the expensive wood bobbins that go with my wheel. ”
