Schacht Single-Ended Hand Winder

Schacht's single- and double-ended hand winders are belt driven (as opposed to gear driven) and clamp directly to a table. The single-ended hand winder has a tapered shaft on which bobbins up to 6" long fit securely. The multipurpose double-ended hand winder can be used for bobbins, pirns and spools.

It has been a great project for when I perhaps am not focused enough for a more demanding pattern. All my special friends are getting this cowl for Christmas! Four down three to go!!
