We hit pause on classes over the summer for renovations and Halcyon Yarn’s new classroom space is now ready. We’ve got lot’s of fun new fiber art toys to play with too. Hope to see you soon!

Not sure what all these crafts are like? Join us at our Annual Fall Open House for demonstrations by several of our instructors. See spinning, weaving, felting and dyeing first hand and learn more about all the beautiful things you can learn to make. Open House always offers great savings and new items, plus free demonstrations and refreshments!

The community indigo vat is coming back too – get ready to dye things blue!

Also at Open House this year – Louet North America will be at Halcyon Yarn with their portable showroom. Check out their incredible looms and spinning wheels. David Van Stralen of Louet will also be offering tune-ups for your Louet spinning wheel, please call or email us for details and to sign up for a wheel tune-up with the expert!

What spots do you recommend for B&B?

    1. Gretchen says:

We’d be delighted to have you visit for a class and we have some great lodging options close to the shop. There is a town directory here: visitbath.com and the B&B’s within walking distance are The Inn at Bath, The Middle Street Inn and The Kennebec Inn. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions or help you plan your visit!

  2. Jo-Ann says:

Do you plan on having a tapestry weaving class this winter?

    1. Gretchen says:

Yes, we plan to have Tapestry classes again this winter however we have not yet confirmed our dates for these. It will be sometime after February 1st and we’ll announce them online as soon as we have them confirmed. Please feel free to call any time if we can help you make a plan for those. Hope to see you soon!
