Choose a kit or create your own combination from over 60 colors in our Homestead 8/2 Cotton Yarn (made in US). You can’t go wrong. Classic towels in a classic yarn, from a company that’s been working for weavers since 1971.
Kit includes 4 mini cones of main color, 1 mini cone of 3 additional colors and pattern. Makes four towels ((finished size approx 19” x 28”). Plain weave, straight draw. One warp, four weft pattern versions are included or create your own. The pattern can be purchased individually as the Camp and Cottage Towel Pattern 4-shaft and Rigid Heddle - 8/2 Cotton only.

I really like the Camp and Cottage towels. I would order the 8/2 cotton, but I am unable to see how much I need. I would order a kit, but they are all out of stock. Alas!!
Hi Lind, Sorry you weren’t able to get the details you needed – this is an older blog post so the details were a bit out of date, sorry not o have replied sooner! We’ve made some updates since then and it’s now even better. All of the current kits and are online if you search “Camp and Cottage” and we’ll be getting more in stock over the new week or so.
If you’d like to get your own colors the instructions are written for either Rigid Heddle or 4-harness looms. The instructions are written to make four finished towels and for that you’ll need either 4 mini-cones or one pound cone of the main color, plus one mini cone each of three other colors. We currently have 4 color combos available as kits and we’ll be releasing several new combinations in a few weeks to if those don’t strike your fancy!
