New Bamboo Knitting Needles!
Those of you who have been in the shop here will know that, even as far as yarn stores go, we’ve got a lot of stuff. That means we are constantly reviewing things, and sometimes we’re surprised by what we find! So when we were checking out what we offer in the straight knitting needle department, I decided to make some additions.
We now carry a new (to us) line of 12″ bamboo knitting needles by ChiaoGoo. Click this link here to check them out! Most of my straight needles at home are 12″ long, and I find it to be the most versatile and comfortable length to work with. I’m also a big fan of wooden needles – they’re warm and easy to hold, they’re not as slippery as metal, and they make a lovely sound when in use.

I wonder if you carry dp ‘bent needles’ to be used in place of straight dp needles. I understand that they’re easier to use than the straights. Your opinion?
Hi Marcia, sorry for the delay in getting back got behind on comments. Anyway, it doesn’t look like we carry bent dp needles. The closest we have are dp’s for cable that have grooves or taper:
