New Innovative Clip Temple from Leclerc
The new Leclerc Clip Temple will revolutionize the weaving world. Imagine purchasing just one temple that can adapt to any width. One Clip Temple can replace all your other temples. If you’ve ever considered purchasing a temple but not yet made a commitment, now is the time and a Clip Temple is the one to purchase.
Imagine the money you’ll save by purchasing just one Clip Temple at $82.00. As a comparison let’s look at the Finnish Metal Temples. Great temples, but you’d need to purchase 4 individual temples to cover widths from 12″-59″ at a cost of $327. That’s a difference of $245!
We love the simplicity of the Clip Temple. The system easily attaches to any loom with the addition of 4 eye hooks. Tension is adjusted by adding and subtracting a series of 3 different weights. Clips attach to the sides of the fabric with an easy pull back locking mechanism. There are no metal teeth to leave holes in your fabric. Great for all fabrics, especially delicate linens.
Want to see the Clip Temple in action? Check out the video on Leclerc’s homepage.

You could, of course, save yourself a lot of money by using some of those little clips that all stationary stores carry and a few old CDs or computer discs as weights. It works a treat and who doesn’t have those things lying around the house just waiting to be put to use?
Have you seen a Leclerc temple used on a baby wolf??
Thanks.
Hi Alice, do you perhaps mean the Leclerc Clip Temple? If so, Halcyon has some instructions for making an adapter to use the Clip with the Baby Wolf. I think the other Leclerc Temples should work so long as the sizing matches correctly. Here is the Clip: https://halcyonyarn.com/weaving/61960000/leclerc-clip-temple Let me know with more details and I’ll see what I can find! Best, Amos
