New Mauch Chunky Wool Roving – our spinners and felters are rejoicing

Mauch Chunky Roving is a wonderfully versatile custom blended 100% domestic wool roving that comes to us from the charming people at Kraemer Textiles in Pennsylvania. It’s a wonderful fiber for both needle and wet felting as well as hand spinning. From a quality company at a fantastic price of just $1.86 per ounce, what’s not to like? Give it a try!

When Kendra came up to spin a few samples – she was raving about this roving! “Normally, for what I like to spin, I’ll dye, blend, card, and then get to spinning… But I love these colors. I feel like now, if I want to knit up some mittens – these heathered blends are wonderful and ready to spin. I don’t even have to pre-draft! I also played around with the fiber in both needle and wet felting, and it works great!”
