Get a glimpse of what it’s like to shop at our retail store in our new TV commercials… As part of a town-wide promotion to encourage shoppers to buy local this holiday season, we’ve rolled out some new TV commercials. For those who haven’t visited Bath, Maine, where our shop is located, it’s a pretty charming, old-fashioned downtown. The shop itself is in an old textile factory building just off the main downtown stretch. While we stock your favorite contemporary yarns and we ship fast all over the world, we also pride ourselves on taking the time to appreciate the slower pace of life in a small town, the investment it takes to make something by hand, and on the personalized care we offer every customer.
The theme for our new ads is “Make something special for someone special,” and both ads feature the actual staff, friends, and family that you’ll find here in the shop. We believe the fiber arts are for everyone – whether you’re experienced at all of it, looking for a new skill to share, or hoping to bring your friends and family into the fold, Halcyon Yarn has something for everyone.
So whether you’re here in town, or a thousand miles away, we’re excited to share with you a little window into what it’s like to spend a little time with us at Halcyon Yarn. This winter we hope you’ll let us help you make something special, for someone special!
