Peaceful Harbor Placemat: Weaving Kits!
Are you drawn to the “Color & Weave” interplay in the Peaceful Harbor Placemats Pattern ? Love seeing how the colors interact, but hate making the color choices yourself? No worries. Peaceful Harbor Placemats are now available in 5 kits.
Each kit makes four placemats, 12″x 18″ after washing. Requires 10 dent reed, 3 shuttles and 15″ weaving width. Great project for a rigid heddle loom (just be sure to warp traditionally rather than direct from ball/cone to loom).

Of course you can customize your placemats with your own color choices. Start by choosing your favorite color in [Sorry, item discontinued or temporarily out of stock] . Then mix and match to find the perfect color combinations in Cascade Ultra Pima Cotton Yarn and 3/2 Pearl Cotton Yarn. You’ll need 2 skeins of Luna Paints, 2 skeins of Ultra Pima Cotton and 2 mini cones of 3/2 Pearl Cotton.

Thanks for the question on weaving the Peaceful Harbor Placemat. It’s a versatile project / kit, and many looms would be able to weave this project. The easiest looms to set-up and use for it would be the rigid heddle looms. Here you can see a variety of these looms, most any of these would work:

HI what type of equipment do I need, to make placemats? Thank you.
