Meg Little’s handmade rugs are mesmerizing. Her skillful use of color and design capture your attention and hold you captive as your eyes wander the expanse of her rugs analyzing the smallest of detail. Meg has won accolades, awards and national media attention over the past two decades for her contemporary rugs. Justly praised for her powerful, sensuous use of color, she has recently broken through to a new level with the complexity  and depth of her patterns.

Join her here at Halcyon Yarn January 15-17 from 9am-4pm when she teaches  Not your Grandmother’s Hooked Rugs . This three-day workshop explores contemporary rug design using a punch needle. The class encompasses all levels of punch hooking experience. Students will construct a frame and work on designs for a small rug or chair pad. There will be ample time to learn/hone the technique, complete the project and plan future projects. Emphasis is on exploring color and original designs.
