Alpine Topper hat pattern
Author: Kendra Rafford 19 (21, 23)" circumference
The original Alpine Topper is the perfect winter hat to brave the cold. We've used a self-striping bulky wool knit on smaller needles for a dense fabric to keep the wind out. The main body is stranded with super bulky merino, creating a cozy, soft, and extra-warm lining against your head. One of our favorite hats - some staff have made over 20 of them!
This versatile pattern now includes a new slant (diagonal stripes!) on the Alpine Topper, as well as the original "column" design. Sizing is given for a young child, as well as adult S/M or M/L.
You choose the size and the design. Knit an Alpine Topper with the traditional column design or knit one with the new diagonal design. Check out our topper video below or at: vimeo.com/16678702
