Spun from 100% Romney wool, which is traditionally known for its warmth and durability. Heirloom Romney is a strong, sturdy yarn that is great for any project that is meant to last - from socks and mittens to cozy winter sweaters or rustic blankets. Due to the lofty open twist you can knit or weave at a wider range of gauge or sett and achieve great results.

Offered in a beautiful, modern palette of heathered colors, you won’t be able to resist the classic, homegrown goodness of this yarn. This Heirloom Romney wool is grown, spun and dyed in the USA. Due to small batch dyeing color can vary from dye lot to dye lot.

Care: Handwash in cool water and hang or block and lay flat to dry. Although quite colorfast, we always recommend if working with high contrast colors rinse first or test to make sure dark colors won't bleed onto lighter colors in a finished piece.
