Braidkin Lacer
For years, rug braiders have turned to Braid-Aid for high quality braiding tools. All Braid-Aid tools are constructed of tempered steel and zinc plated for smoothness and long life. Until 1947 when the Braidkin was introduced all rugs were sewn together with thread and needle, a slow, painstaking effort. The Braidkin needle has an exact curve and tip shaped to insert under the loops of braid with ease and speed. The width and flatness keeps it from rolling or turning as you lace; and the double eye prevents thread from slipping. Great for use in knitting and weaving too. Measure 3 1/4" long x 3/16" wide.

Leather Finger Guard - Open-End
Keep your fingers protected while still keeping a good grip and plenty of flexibility. Elastic backs keep the leather guard firmly in place for quilting, braiding or any tough-on-your-fingers work that requires dexterity. Keep several on hand (pun intended!).
Beloved by rug braiders, hookers and punchers, these finger guards are a helpful accessory for all crafts. Use them to guide thread when winding bobbins for weaving, or instead of thimbles when needle felting or sewing.
Finger guards are sold individually, for best protection we recommend buying two at a time as shown in image.
