Schacht Matchless Spinning Wheel Double Treadle

Schacht's Matchless spinning wheel is available in two styles. The original style has one broad treadle and the double treadle has two treadles that move independently of each other. Aside from the treadles, both wheels are exactly the same. Lots of standard equipment comes with the Matchless spinning wheels including two whorls for a total of four drive ratios — medium (9 and 11:1) and fast (13 and 15.5:1), a scotch tension lazy kate, four bobbins, a threading hook and a shoulder strap for easy carrying. Either wheel can be used in double drive or scotch tension modes. Minimal assembly is required, just attach the treadle(s) and start spinning.
