Ashford Joy 2 Spinning Wheels, with Carry Bag

Ashford's Joy 2 spinning wheel is an ultra-compact and lightweight Scotch tension wheel that is always ready to go with you anywhere, even on the plane!

The Ashford Joy 2 now has a 1.25" higher orifice at 60 cm (23.25") with a 10 mm (3/8") opening. For such a compact wheel there's plenty of room between the bobbin and tension knob for the spring. Convenient carry handles are incorporated into front and back frames and treadle boards are mounted on flexible polyurethane hinges for incredibly quiet, maintenance-free treadling.

Single Drive Ratios: 6, 8, 11, 14

Choose either a Single or Double Treadle option. For easy carrying in the included 'backpack' style padded case, the sliding flyer and bobbins fit into the frame and the treadle board folds flat.

Comes assembled with lacquer finish and includes a built-in Lazy Kate, bag, threading hook, and 3 Sliding Hook Flyer Bobbins (130g/4-5oz capacity).

Double Treadle: 5.1 kg (11.25 lb), 45 cm (17.5") wheel diameter.
