Description

Easy to knit, basic children's pullover sweater knit from the neck down with rolled borders. Neck down lets you grow their sweater by adding to sleeves and bottom for at least one season. Knit this many different sizes and colors as the child grows. You can use 1x1 rib for the edges instead of the roll if desired. The fit is roomy for growing into it and layering. If you get the inspiration, add a cable pattern to the front or sleeves to make your own unique.

Sizes: 2-4, 6-8, 10-12

Finished measurements:
Chest: 30, 32, 34 inches
Length: 15, 17½, 20 inches

Materials - worsted weight yarn: approx. 475, 575, 675 yds
24 inch circular needles sizes 9 and 6; 16 inch circular needle size 6; double point needles sizes 9 and 6 or sizes required to get the gauge.
Scrap yarn, stitch markers.

Gauge- using the larger size needles in circular stockinette st, 16 sts equal 4 inches
