Hours & Operations

We bring the yarn store right to your door! Order securely online any time, including for curbside orders. Orders usually ship within 1-3 business days. If there’s something you don’t see online, or if you would like help placing a special order, or back-ordering items that are temporarily unavailable on our website please contact us, we’re happy to help!

Customer Service is available by phone Monday – Friday between 10 am and 5 pm (ET), except for holidays.

Our friendly staff of fiber artists are glad to provide recommendations, assist with your order or shipping information, or arrange for curbside pick-up. We’re a small but mighty crew so if you don’t reach us right away please leave a brief message and we’ll return your call as soon as possible, or you can contact us here.

Curbside Orders are available for pick up Monday through Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm, except for holidays. You may place a curbside order by phone or online!

We are glad to prepare a curbside order for you if you are in the neighborhood! Please allow an hour for curbside orders to be ready and let us know if you need to pick-up outside of regular business hours. Your order will be in a paper bag with your name on it and the receipt enclosed. No need to call or come inside, the pick-up shelf is to your right in the covered entry just before you enter from the parking lot. You can place your order at any time up to a week in advance of your preferred pick-up time.

Telephone
Please call at least an hour in advance of your desired pick-up time so that we can confirm your order and have it ready. You’ll pay by credit card when you order and let us know when you’ll be picking up.

Online
Place your curbside order online and enter the date and time you’d like to pick it up in the Order Note, then select “Pickup in store” as your shipping method at checkout.

Only in-stock items are available for curbside pick-up. Anything you order that is not in stock at the same time will be treated as a separate order and we will contact you when it is available for pick-up or delivery. If out-of-stock items are included in your order and shipped later, standard shipping rates will apply.

Customer service staff are not available to meet you at the door, let you into the store, or handle returns and exchanges in person when the retail store is closed. Orders are prepaid when placed and pickups are contact-free. If you need to make a return or exchange please call or email and we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible.

Halcyon Yarn is closed in observance of the following holidays.

Our retail store and fulfillment center are conveniently located in downtown Bath just off of Route One in the midcoast area. We are about 40 minutes north of Portland, 20 minutes north of Freeport, and 20 minutes south of Wiscasset.
