Ashford Stick Shuttle

Made from Silver Beech hardwood in various widths to fit your project. Available in a smoothly sanded unfinished version or a clear lacquered version.

We recommend using a stick shuttle that is approximately the same width or slightly wider than your project to make each pass easier. A shuttle that is at least the width of your weaving makes it less likely to catch a warp thread and create a 'float,' and helps prevent having to reach into the shed to pull it through, thereby jeopardizing your tension and selvedges.
