JaggerSpun yarns are dyed with the finest low-impact synthetic dyes possible. Excess dyes may be present in some highly saturated colors so sample first. If excess dye is present, skein the yarn and rinse until the water runs clear. Deep purples may not be colorfast when exposed to sun, so avoid prolonged exposure to bright light. Available in all 42 colors, orders are "on demand" and are not returnable. We suggest you order a sample card so you are sure of the colors you are ordering. Color Photo swatches are shown in 2/8 heather rather than 3/8. Color 004 - Edelweiss is shown in 3/8. Care : Hand wash in cool water or dry clean. Lay flat to dry.

Description

JaggerSpun's Heather 3/8 Heather yarns are ,top-dyed, worsted spun 27-29 micron “Sport gauge” wool yarns. The heather effect is created by blending together many different shades to achieve each unique yarn color.
Made in Maine of soft, medium grade wool, these beautiful heathers will be a mainstay in weaving and knitting finding their way into clothing and lovely home decor projects. As a worsted spun yarn, it is smoother and shinier than woolen spun yarns and won't full as much when washed/finished, so plan on a closer sett or tighter gauge (finish your swatch to determine if you like the finished piece before proceding).
