Halcyon's oval rug looks almost like a braided rug but, crocheting this rug is so easy and so much faster. You can make one in a weekend. Once you've tried the technique you'll want to do squares and rectangles too. (for your own designs plan on needing 9 oz/sq.ft).
Three strands of heavy rug yarn are used on a size P or Q hook.
