Experience the beauty and versatility of the Kromski Interlude, a mid-size Saxony style spinning wheel with a single angled treadle and single-drive Scotch tension. Crafted from European alder and birch with leather and brass bearings and a range of finishes. This wheel boasts a 21.5" diameter, providing maximum spinning options while maintaining the classic Kromski wood-turning and Saxony style. The Interlude, inspired by the smaller Prelude and larger Symphony, is the perfect fairytale wheel for those who desire the visual impact of a full-sized Saxony but have limited space. With three bobbins and built-in lazy kate, the Interlude is a spinner's dream come true. You can easily create a variety of yarns and elevate your spinning experience with the Kromski Interlude, a true work of art in the world of spinning wheels.

wheel diameter - 21.5" (55 cm)

orifice height - 26"
orifice size - 3/8" (10 mm)

bobbin size - 4.2 oz (120g) capacity (3 included)

standard ratios: 7, 13.5, 15.5 (to 1)
weight - 11 lb

Additional whorls available separately for ratios of 5.5, 8.3, 11, 13.3, 17.5, and 20 (to 1).

The option of adding a Jumbo Flyer kit expands the spinners' range in two ways. The larger orifice on the jumbo flyer allows for the creation of a variety of yarns, from lace-weight to super bulky art yarn. Furthermore, the jumbo bobbin can hold twice the amount of yarn compared to the regular Kromski bobbin. With a generous 4.2 ounce capacity, the regular Kromski bobbin already offers 50% more space than most bobbins in the industry. The jumbo bobbin doubles that amount, allowing for the spinning of two regular bobbins' worth without needing a bobbin change. This results in longer, uninterrupted drafting and larger skeins of yarn.

Designed to perfectly balance functionality and timeless craftsmanship, the Kromski Interlude Spinning Wheel will provide years of joyful spinning.
