Lace Ladders Woven Scarf

Cozy and elegant, this is the warmest and loftiest woven scarf we've ever made. The special weave structure shows off the long gradient color changes in distinctive ladder-like columns. Unusual for such a thick woven piece, the Lace Ladders Scarf remains soft and drapey while offering the wearer a reversible double thickness that is extra warm and incredibly soft. A delicate twist on winter warmth!

The chunky main yarn is bound together with a nearly invisible wool/silk thread, offering just a highlight of contrast here and there, and plenty of structure. The variegated columns intersect and appear to float across the scarf.

In colorways that will transport you, escape into the lovely color changes of the Lace Ladder Scarf. Written with details for two version using either Amitola Grande or Galloway Merino variegated yarns, can use any very soft bulky weight yarn. Show off the beautiful color changes with just a hint of plain weave structure to maintain the web’s integrity.
