The Louet S10 is one of the most popular spinning wheels ever made, valued by beginners and experienced spinners alike for its simplicity, durability, and versatility. Featuring Louet's classic Irish Tension (bobbin-led) drive system, the S10 uses a single drive band with an adjustable flyer brake to regulate take-up. Low-maintenance and durable, this intuitive design makes the wheel exceptionally easy to learn on while providing the strong pull needed for spinning thicker, loftier yarns, year after year.

Constructed from lacquered solid beech and laminated birch, the S10 is built to withstand years of regular use. Its balanced flywheel design ensures smooth, consistent treadling and allows the wheel to stop exactly where you stop, making spinning more comfortable and efficient. Maintenance-free ball bearings in the main hub and footman connection provide quiet operation and eliminate the need for lubrication.
