Description
Comfortable and stylish swing cardigan knit out of DK weight yarn for all season wear. Knit from the neck down, the slightly fitted empire waist and button front make it an easy layering piece. Directions for 'tunic' length, but easy to adjust shorter or longer if you prefer.
Sizes- x-small, small, medium, large, x-large,
xx-large.
Finished measurements-
Chest- 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52 ins.
Length- 26 (26, 27, 27, 28, 28) ins.
Materials- dk weight yarn:
approx. 1,124 (1,352; 1,463; 1,523; 1,615; 1,726) yds.
29 inch circular needles sizes 6 and 4; 16 inch circular needle sizes 6 and 4; double point needles size 4 or sizes required to get the gauge.
Scrap yarn, stitch markers, ¾ or 1 inch buttons (5 or 6), blunt darning needle.
Gauge- using the larger needles in stockinette st,
20 sts equal 4 inches. This is a loose gauge for dk weight yarn necessary for drape.
