Netting Shuttle

The use of netting shuttles goes back to a time when fishing nets were made and repaired by hand. Originally made of wood or bone, the netting shuttles of today are made from durable plastic nylon — not as romantic but just as functional. Weavers, consider netting shuttles for tapestry and inlay techniques where the weft is carried in and out of the warp.
