The Wolf Series of looms by Schacht are versatile, durable and surprisingly portable! The 36" Mighty Wolf Floor Loom is the widest of Schacht's Wolf Series of easy-to-fold x-frame jack looms. Like its smaller siblings, it offers lots of versatility in a relatively compact footprint and the choice between eight shafts (harnesses) or a 4-Now, 4-Later option.
It has all the advantages of portability while maintaining the best big loom features. The full 36" weaving width means you can weave blankets and even area rugs easily.
An easy-to-use jack loom, the Wolf arrives mostly assembled and is very straightforward to maintain. Schacht's excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail mean you can weave for years to come on this thoughtfully designed floor loom.
The adjustable beater allows the position of the shuttle race to be raised or lowered if necessary. The Wolf looms employ a friction brake on the warp beam that lets you advance the warp smoothly.
The loom comes with 100 heddles per harness and a stainless steel reed. Additional heddles and reeds can be ordered separately. You can also choose an optional "stroller" which is a set of wheels that make it easy to roll the loom around your home, studio, or even into a workshop.
