Description

Ushya is a light, soft, super bulky chainette merino wool blend. The chain construction serves to keep this yarn feeling as lofty and squishy as can be. This is a touchable, air yarn that keeps you warm without being dense or heavy and it really holds its shape even in such a large (and fast-to-knit) gauge.

Ushya is part of the Mirasol yarn collection, which was created to support building and running schools in a rural, remote farming area of Peru. In particular, the foundation helps to establish school boarding opportunities for students who live far from educational opportunities. The purchase of this yarn supports the schools through the non-profit Mirasol Project - share and support this project with each garment you knit from this beautiful yarn!
