Description

A simple and easy children's cardigan knit from the neck down in a worsted to heavy worsted weight yarn. Keep your little one as cozy as can be!

This basic cardigan for kids includes options for a jacket collar, crew neck, or hood (shown), and button or zipper closure.

Three Sizes: 2-4, 6-8, 10-12
Finished measurements:
Chest: 30, 32, 34 inches
Length: 15, 17½, 20 inches

Gauge: using the larger needles in stockinette st, 16 sts equal 4 inches.

Materials: worsted/Aran weight yarn: approx 475, 575, 675 yds. 
24 inch circular needles in sizes US #9 and #6, double point needles sizes US #9 and #6, or sizes required to get the gauge. 
18 inch separating zipper or ¾ to 1 inch buttons (5 to 8).
Scrap yarn, stitch markers.
