Happy Plaid Woven Blanket, download

Designing plaids is such a pleasure! Watching the colors interact as the weaving progresses nevers grows old. This "happy plaid" was woven in the late 70's in the warm colors of the time but easily adapts to any combo by using 4 closely related colors (here reds and oranges but how about blues and purples or blues and greens) plus two strongly contrasting (here brown and green) but red and yellow are perfect bright choices, or perhaps orange and yellow. You'll have such fun designing and weaving. This is an easy project to start with. The 8 epi version has more drape but requires more care to beat square.
