Fine White Merino Wool Top description:

Merino is among the softest and finest of all wools, with counts ranging from 64-70 and staple lengths of just over 3 inches. In addition to fine, fine, and more fine, merino fibers have a close tight crimp which gives consistent loft to spun yarn. Nice for blending, luxurious on its own, and wonderful for needle felting and wet felting. Micron count is 21-23.

In needle felting be careful not to use too large a felting needle so you don't leave visible holes in this delicate fiber.
