Come one, come all to FiberME 2014 Craft Fair this coming Wednesday, August 6th, from 1-6 pm. For the second year in a row Halcyon Yarn will  be showcasing the talents of Maine’s own premiere fiber artists. Although designed to enhance the FiberME 2014 experience, the craft show is FREE and open to the public and held right here at the shop.  In addition to the fiber artists, Maine authors Robin Hansen and Susie Stephenson will be joining us, signing copies of their knitting and rug hooking books. Better yet, Linda Cortright,  publisher of the amazing Wild Fibers Magazine (often referred to as the “National Geographic for the Fiber World”), will be on hand ready to discuss the many fascinating places her fiber adventures have taken her. So whether you’re 20 miles away or 120 miles away plan a visit to Halcyon Yarn on August 6th and see just what Maine craftspeople have to offer.  You’ll be amazed and inspired.
