Fabric Care: While cotton can generally be machine washed and dried we recommend doing so only with great care in order to prevent bleeding of the vibrant hand-painted hues. Use only cold water and low/no heat or hang dry. Better yet - handwash cool and hang or lay flat to dry. Whether hand or machine washing the dyer recommends using only a small amount of mild castille soap rather than detergent or a no-rinse delicate wash such as soak or eucalan.

Description
A soft unmercerized DK organic cotton, hand-dyed in the USA. Rich variegated colors and ample yardage make this a great yarn for shawls and scarves. It's also lovely for a colorful summer shell or poncho. The even 2-ply twist and great yardage makes it very suitable for weavers as well.
